Mamaearth Body Wash, Mosquito Repellant & Massage Oil -Product Review

Mamaearth – such an interesting name! Indeed it is.It has already been 4 months of using their products.I had done a previous post on their shampoo and body lotion, and this one is for their body wash, massage oil and the mosquito repellent. What pulled me to Mamaearth in these four months is that it is made by a mom.We all know that when a mother puts her heart and soul in anything (be it a baby, work or anything in this whole wide world) she is bound to create miracles and good stories with them. That is exactly what happened with Mamaearth baby care range.I must say that I am really happy with the quality of the products, and I am here to say that I will continue this beautiful relationship with Mamaearth.

I am not a much of an experimenting as far as it involves my baby’s skin is concerned.A baby’s skin is very sensitive and is often prone to develop allergic reactions or skin irritations in worst cases. Therefore whenever I have to try a new product on my toddler girl I do the following things:

1.I use the product for a good 5-7 days.I practice this on myself because as a mom I want to experience the product first.Ever heard that the mother is the shield of the baby and will protect the baby from everything which comes against it!! It holds true here as well.Even if t means that I receive small sample packets, I will first and foremost use on my skin before the baby.

2.I always do a Ph test for the product to be used.In this case, I did a Ph test for the body wash. A Ph test is an easy way to be sure, that the soap you are using is safe to use or not.

3.After  I am fully satisfied, I then try it on my toddler.

Mamaearth’s products are the first ‘Made Safe ‘ certified brand in Asia. Each of their product is:

1.Certified toxin free (no parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, sulfates etc.)
2.Dermatologically tested
3. MadeSafe certified
4.Highly efficacious with the goodness of natural ingredients like Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil,      Cocoa Butter etc.

1.MAMAEARTH DEEPLY NOURISHING BODY WASH FOR BABIES – It majorly consists of purified water, aloe vera extract, glycerin, and orange essential oil and Vitamin E.We all know Vitamin E helps in giving the skin desired nourishment.

2.MAMAEARTH SOOTHING MASSAGE OIL FOR BABIES – It is primarily made up of cold pressed sesame oil, virgin coconut oil, olive oil and almond oil.Coconut oil has a range of benefits like healing dry and chapped lips, moisturizing dry scalp and even in the treatment of eczema.

3.MAMAEARTH NATURAL INSECT REPELLANT– The main ingredients include purified water,cold-pressed soybean and castor oil, citronella oil and eucalyptus. The best part of this repellent is that it is 100 % natural and DEET free.

I had got Mamaearth samples, almost four months back. And I put them to good use before I could finally write a review for them.Just because I wanted, to be honest with writing a post. The fragrance of the body wash is citrusy and refreshing at the same time. Also, the body wash spreads easily on the body and also comes off easily leaving the skin soft and supple.Massage time is the best time for me and my toddler girl. I have been massaging my baby girl by myself only.I joined my work after my maternity leaves. So even when I had an option of keeping a maid for doing her massage, I plainly refused to.This is because massage times were the best interaction time between me and my baby.Even though now she has reached two years of age, I still massage her on the weekends. The oil has coconut oil essence which provides ample nourishment to her skin.It also contains almond oil which contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E, as well as monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. Almond oil is an excellent choice for use on babies because it is naturally rich in emollients and pure enough for sensitive baby skin. The only thing, in which I seek improvement is in the fragrance. The fragrance is closely similar to the repellent, a quality I did not like.
My toddler girl loves going to the nearby park and enjoys her time on the swings.Off lately, she was returning with mosquito bites on her skin. This made me petrified and I felt bad seeing those red marks on her hands and legs. The best part is that they are Deet free, and that is the reason it needs to be applied after every two hours. On the other hand, Deet products have an effective time period of more than 2 hours.I put this to use for a good two weeks, and I could see no more red bites on the toddler’s skin. The only thin

Mamaearth products are available at:

Like in my last review, I said that they can come down to the range of I.N.R 250.But on the other hand, I also feel that quality always comes at a price. And if it is something natural, DEET- free and toxin free, I would not mind spending out some extra bucks for it.

We have loved every part of this baby care range, and like I said I would continue using this on my toddler girl.I am particularly a big fan of the Body Wash and Shampoo.I would also recommend them to come up with a baby cream(a thing I had also mentioned in my previous post). Another feature we loved the most, is the colorful and eye-catching packages they come in.They have a range of animal imprinted on them and my daughter loves speaking to them in her grooming and bath time.We would give it a 5/5.
